about

John Hospital presents this Dirty Hospital offshoot under the guise of Gummer. These tracks take influence from all over the place. '83 electro, chicago house and rave flavours are all prominent, with enough 8-bit roughness and wonk to make Gummer a unique proposition.

As half of Dirty Hospital, John Hospital has had records released on Rottenrow, Control Tower, Mighty Robot and Chan'N'Mikes, with his first solo EP, "Truant" due to appear on fellow Glasgow label, Pest Control. You will also find the Gummer track, "Routes" appearing on the next 12'' from the Pookie's Chocolate Nose label.

This release sees the launch of the first Rottenrow downloads series, which will culminate in the release of a limited edition 12'' featuring tracks from all the releases.
